Originally from the the Metro Detroit Area, Dr Sethi went to Howard University in Washington DC on a Presidential scholarship after being accepted into the advanced medical program. He completed his undergraduate education in three years and graduated Magna cum laude with a degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry

Dr. Sethi is a graduate of the Wayne State University School of Medicine, where he graduated with a distinction in biomedical research and was recognized with the Penfil-Tischler award, annually presented to the graduating physician who best epitomized the β€œArt of Medicine.” 

Dr Sethi trained in general internal medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa, where he was nominated by his peers for induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for excellence in humanistic clinical care, leadership, compassion and dedication to service.

He has been active in scientific research and has been published in several peer reviewed scientific journals. He has also presented his work at over 30 national and international conferences.
